Welcome to the web site for the Essex Swimming League. This league is an annual competition for Essex-based swimming clubs which runs over four separate galas usually running between September and April. Here you will find details of fixtures, gala results, current league positions and other miscellaneous material relating to the league.

News & Announcements
11th May 2013	Gala Results Result from the third gala for Division One and Two are now posted although swim points for the Division One gala are being checked and this could result in amendments. See Results page.
16th March 2013	Division Four Champions decided! Official result from the final Division Four galas now posted. Congratulations to the Basildon & Phoenix ‘B’ team who secured the Division Four title for the 2012/13 season. See Results page.
16th March 2013	Gala Results Official results from the Division One, Three and Four galas held on 2nd March have been added. See Results page.
9th March 2013	Provisional Gala Results Provisional results from the Division One, Three and Four galas held on 2nd March have been added. See Results page. Note: These results are not yet ratified and are subject to corrections.
9th Feb 2013	Gala Results Results from the galas held on 2nd Feb have been added. See Results page
1st Feb 2013	Initial Results Results from the first set of galas in divisions two, three and four have been added. See Results page
4th Jan 2013	Start/Warm-Up Times Corrected warm-up & start time for 19th Jan division two gala and added times for the two galas at Basildon Sporting Village.
28th Oct 2012	2012-13 Fixture Details Pool Locations and Host clubs for all remaining fixtures have now been added to the Fixtures page. Thank you to Brian Kapp for making these arrangements on behalf of the league.
20th Oct 2012	New season kick-off and rules Rule change: In order to simplify the point scoring in divisions with five teams, rule 19 has been amended so that gala points are awarded from 1 to 5. See League rules in the Documents page for details. First gala details: Details for the Division 4 gala on 1st December have now been finalised (location is Walthamstow, host club Eltham). See Fixtures page. Other fixture details will be published as soon as the pools have confirmed bookings.
22nd Sept 2012	Divisions and Fixture dates Following the 2012 AGM the divisions and fixture dates for the new season have been announced and are now posted on this site. Pool locations and host clubs are currently to be determined. The following new teams have successfully applied to join the league for the coming season: Chelmsford, Saffron Seals and a ‘B’ team from Basildon & Phoenix.
